Cleaner Indoor Air with Dulux Better Living Air Clean Biobased Paint
AkzoNobel introduces a new natural, biobased paint aimed at improving the indoor air quality of Singaporean homes
Singapore, 27 October 2022 – AkzoNobel, a leading paints and coatings company has launched the Dulux Better Living Air Clean Biobased interior paint in Singapore. This premium sheen finish paint is formulated with natural Bamboo Charcoal that purifies indoor air by removing hazardous pollutants. The paint’s unique Pure Air Technology™ actively removes many common and harmful air pollutants such as formaldehyde, toluene, benzene and other VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) emitted by carpets, furniture and construction materials.
Certified by USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), Dulux Better Living Air Clean Biobased paint consists of ingredients that are derived from plants and other renewable agricultural, marine and forestry materials as an alternative to conventional petroleum-derived products. It contains anti-bacterial, anti-mould, and anti-fungal properties to protect the walls while keeping the air in the home cleaner.
The pandemic has changed the way Singaporeans view their homes and personal spaces. Homeowners spent significantly more time in their homes but may not be aware of the need to pay attention to the indoor air quality. Therefore, with Dulux Better Living Air Clean Biobased paint, they can create a safer and cleaner indoor environment, a haven at home to relax and rejuvenate their minds, body, and soul.
“As Singaporean residents and their families are spending more time at home and concerns over indoor air quality are increasing, we wanted to create a product that answers these concerns. Dulux Better Living Air Clean Biobased paint encapsulates how AkzoNobel is leveraging its global expertise to deliver truly differentiated benefits that are innovative, and designed to improve our customers’ quality of life,” said David Teng, Commercial Director SEAP at AkzoNobel Decorative Paints.
In addition, homeowners can be inspired by Wild Wonder, AkzoNobel’s recently launched Colour of the Year 2023. And along with Dulux Better Living Air Clean Biobased paint, they can revitalise their homes with colour palettes curated by a group of internationally renowned designers whilst also prioritising their wellbeing.
